Village Pantry: Halal Beef

A point of entrée for newcomers from all over the world, the Village Pantry provides fresh and varied foods to supplement families’ weekly groceries. Village Exchange Center provides healthy and nutritious foods including fresh produce, dairy, and protein items that are culturally appropriate for each of the communities we serve.

One item that we provide to the Muslim communities we serve is halal beef. Through a partnership we have with a local mosque in Northglenn, we've been able to work directly with a halal butcher to purchase a whole cow at a time. One cow will provide an average of 500 pounds of beef that is then sorted into 3-pound servings. Your donation will help us to be able to provide halal beef to the 72 Muslim families we support.
