Victim of a Ambush Drive-by Shooting

Met Ivan, A sweet, Caring and full of life young man who just turned 18 a couple weeks ago. On April 6th 2024 Ivan was a victim of a ambush/drive-by shooting. Ivan is very lucky to be alive but he did get shot in the face. The bullet went in through the face under the nose and is lodged in the side of the neck behind the ear. The bullet remained close to a main artery. He had to be airlifted to a better equipped hospital 3 hours away where he has to undergo multiple surgeries. Doctor's have to go in try to remove the bullet if possible. He will have lots of reconstructive surgeries on his mouth. There is a lot of damage done to the upper part of his mouth and his teeth. He has a long road ahead of him and is not out of the woods yet. His parents, Shasta and Peter are trying to be by his side as much as possible. They also have a home and other children to tend to. The gas money alone driving back-and-forth has been a struggle it's a 3 hour drive 6 hours total there and back. That doesn't include trying to find a place to stay overnights while there, money to eat plus they still have bills to pay at home and other children to provide for.

Peter, Ivan's father is a very hard working man who takes pride in providing for his family but times have been rough just like they have been for many people. His work has went down and they have been living paycheck to paycheck.

Shasta, Ivan's mother, who is a stay at home mother still has other children to tend to.

My hope is to help relieve some of the burden these unfortunate circumstances have created. All donations will go to any medical bills they are responsible for, bills at home, travel expenses and hotel cost.
