VFW Post 112, mustered, 14, January 1920. Post 112 has the honor of being the oldest post in Kansas. With an aging membership and multiple shutdowns due to the Covid pandemic, we as a post are in a financial crisis. With our ability to raise funds hindered by the pandemic, we require immediate help from our fellow Wichitan's with monetary donations to help us keep the doors open and our lights on. Since October of 2020, Post 112 offers FREE group therapy for veterans and first response workers with a licensed therapist, every Friday at 4:30 pm at 1560 S. Topeka. Our posts long term goal, is to create additional therapy programs for military spouses, all women's led PTSD group and offer individual therapy sessions for those uncomfortable with a group setting. Help Veterans of Foreign Wars continue to serve Wichita and it's veterans for 100 more years!
