A Christmas to remember

Christmas is a time to give! I have some friends who I am hoping to make this Christmas a memoriable one.  They recently moved here from Ghana, Africa. We met through our kids at school. Josephine and her husband Prince have 2 kids. (Ages 7 and 6 months). Prince is a very hard-working man who works two jobs to pay the bills and still looks to pick up overtime on top of that. He typically has 1 day off a month. Josephine taught Secondary School in Ghana and wants to continue in that field in the future. They only have one car so I have had the opportunity to help out when I can. I have enjoyed giving Josephine rides to Bible study, Once Upon a Child, school events, and the public library and to show her appreciation...she cooked my family an African meal! They are the sweetest family. However, I feel like I would like to do more! That is where you all come in.  If you feel that this is something you could support and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you feel is appropriate...that would be wonderful. If this is not your thing, that’s totally fine, I just ask if you would just say a simple prayer for some financial relief for them and continued adjustments to the States. I want this family to know their community is supportive of them. With the money that is raised I will be purchasing Walmart and Hornbachers gift cards, winter clothes for Prince and Josephine and of course...a 7 year old has to have a present or two to open! I would like to get a game and some crafts and a couple outfits for the six month old. Also, if you prefer to do shopping, feel free to shop away and drop anything off at my house! (7 year old girl and 6 month old boy) I plan on giving the items to the family on the 21st.
