VetsHelpingVets Anderson $1 Challenge

It's simple. We are what our name says: Vets Helping Vets Anderson. We Help Vets Back To A Better Quality Of Life by providing services not offered by the VA or most other veterans organizations. Any vet that needs help, any time. From building wheelchair ramps, to providing food, to weekly lawn care, medical equipment, wellness checks and even as much as donating a kidney. We help veterans on a one-on-one basis, no questions asked. We do all the work ourselves, and we use donations to buy the materials we need to provide these services to local needy vets. In just 8 years, Vets Helping Vets Anderson has grown from only 14 to 275 members. That's phenomenal! And every weekly meeting, we welcome more new members. We meet our operating expenses with a pass of the hat, and we have no paid positions. We are a 501-C3 organization. All of the donations we receive go directly to individual veteran needs in our community. Last year we donated more to local vets than we received.

Consequently, we have outgrown our current meeting space at the local Elks Club. We recently received an extremely generous donation of 3 acres of land. We have raised a bit over 1/3 of what we need to build a new home, one we can call our own. Nothing fancy, just a meeting place that's big enough to accommodate every vet who wants to help another vet. But we need a helping hand. This is your opportunity to say, "Thank You!" to veterans and show them that YOU are ready to support them after all they've done to serve their country, defend us, and preserve our freedoms.

And ask them to share with THEIR friends and family (email, social media, word-of-mouth… spread the word!) Simply click on the SHARE button at the top of the page.

Do you see the potential here? If 200 of you send this to 2 people who donate $1, and the next day they send to 2 people, etc., in 14 days we can reach 1,638,400 people! And hey, if everyone sends to more than 2 people each, and/or if anyone decides to donate a little more, we'll reach our goal even sooner!
