Veterinary conservation course in Africa

My name is Sheridan O'Connor, and I am a first year vet student at Virginia Tech. This Summer, I will be traveling to Kruger National Park in South Africa and working with SA World Vets in their wildlife course. In this course, we study wildlife conservation and medicine - working with animals such as leopards, elephants and lions. Some of the skills we will be working on are: lion and leopard tracking/monitoring, wound treatment, animal herd health assessment. I appreciate all the help I can get to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity! The cost of the course goes towards the lodging, food, and equipment we will be using.  Thank you!
