VETERAN IN NEED OF SUPPORT

On behalf of family, this fundraiser is being started for Kenneth V. Lewis from El Paso, Texas. US Army Veteran (SGT) of 12 years, he served and sacrificed soo much for our great country including combat tours in Khe Sanh, Vietnam. Lewis settled in El Paso purchasing a home, where he fell inlove and helped raise 6 beautiful human beings. He also served the community of El Paso for 26 years working for HOY FOX, started his own successful window cleaning business in 1996 managing several large contracts throughout the city. In 2019 Lewis was diagnosed with prostate cancer, where he was granted 100% disability through the VA. This took a toll on his business, his mental and physical well being tremendously. In early 2020, Lewis received surgery for the removal of the cancer where just a few months later as COVID was beginning to impact the world, he suffered a stroke, causing more physical issues including multiple cataracts in his eyes which has led to partial blindness. The VA unexpectedly cut his disability by a third while still being treated for these conditions causing a big financial burdon to him and the family. Now an outstanding mortgage loan amount of $13, 000 is now in garnishment where he now faces new problems.
