We are all learning new roles in this new normal of COVID-19.
Artists, like many others, are feeling the hit as events and shows are cancelled, commissions are withdrawn and sales are dwindling. It is an uncertain time for everyone.
The Form Collective is trying to do its part by offering support to artists who are particularly impacted by the economic affect of COVID-19. It has set up the Vermont Artist Relief Fund as a private campaign that will go directly to artists who demonstrate a need. These funds will help with necessary expenses such as studio rent, utilities, business insurance and materials. Our aim is to assist artists through this time so they can keep their studio practice intact.
Our goal is to offer relief as soon as April 15th.
We cherish the shared humanity this situation has brought about and view it as a silver lining amidst the chaos and unknown. By choosing to support the Vermont Artist Relief Fund, you are helping insure a small amount of stability to our creative community. And to that, we say “Thank you.”
