Vena Cava Productions, QUT’s premier student-led theatre company, is bringing Carl Grose’s Grand Guignol to life, and we need your help! Known for its outrageous theatricality, dark humour, and gruesome practical effects, Grand Guignol is a thrilling homage to the blood soaked legacy of early horror theatre.

This design led production relies on intricate sets, detailed costumes, and elaborate stage gore to transport audiences into the macabre world of Victorian-era Paris. As emerging artists, we’re passionate about pushing creative boundaries — but as students, we’re working with limited resources.

Your support will go directly towards materials for practical effects, set and costume construction, and essential props. Help us create a night of theatre that’s bold, bloody, and unforgettable.
