My name is Manar Ahmad and I am the Secretary for HelpingACT (www.helpingact.org)

 

HelpingACT was founded in 2018 and has been helping Canberra's vulnerable community members survive during the tough times. Essential to our operations was the use of our president's car to buy and deliver to our clients. Unfortunately his car has recently seized up (radiator and gasket) and requires a major investment to fix, that may not even be worth the repair.

 

HelpingACT is now looking at this as an opportunity to acquire our own reliable car for our operations. We have assessed that we will need around $20,000 for such a car including purchase/repair, registration, comprehensive insurance and servicing/maintenance for a year.

 

We need to do this as soon as possible - hopefully within the next 14 days or so.

 

Please donate generously so that we can get back on the road and keep our service to the community going better than ever. Your donation is much needed at this time when our clients are suffering from isolation and lack of employment.

 

We would also be interested in car dealerships or similar to help us get something appropriate for a fair price.
