Greetings everyone,
the “Clavarezza’s Tavern” project is being presented to you by the rural Consortium of Clavarezza, which is a little village of 25 residents, situated in the municipality of Valbrevenna, In the Province of Genoa.
The Consortium, created in 2013 for the management of the fractional aqueduct built by our fathers and great parents in 1913, collects around 2.500,00 Euros every year deriving from the annual fee, and takes care not only of the distribution of the water in the houses, but also takes part in many initiatives for the improvement of the life of the villagers, all exclusively with acts of volunteering.
With this in mind, we bought (given the small price of just 5.000,00 Euros without taxes) the building of the old village tavern that has been closed since 1985 ( except a brief reopening from 2001 to 2003), with the intention of opening, inside of it, a club, a small museum of our history, and some rooms for the tourists.
Having this Tavern in the village is really important for our people, especially in the summer, which is when the population increases because of the residents who have second houses here: the possibility of having coffee and breakfast, playing cards without going from one house to the other, and offering refreshments to the hikers will be vitally important for our community.
The building is of considerable size and therefore, even though it’s certainly not in bad conditions, it needs several renovation and maintenance works.
In this first phase, the most urgent works are: the waterproofing of the balcony on the last floor, the restoration of the protruding part of said balcony, the reconstruction of the canopy that covers the terrace on the first floor, the replacement and painting of all the window shutters, and on the inside, other than the plastering of the walls in some areas, we’ll need to re-paint all of the rooms and restore the electric and water systems; the cost of all these renovation works sums up to around 25.000,00 Euros.
It’s with these goals in mind that we are asking help to anyone that can assist us in this project that has the main purpose of keeping alive and improving our dear village that we hold so closely to our heart.
It will be our pleasure and responsibility to update you step by step on the renovation works, and to draw up from time to time a detailed account of the expenses incurred.
A heartfelt thanks to anyone that will decide to help us in this important initiative of ours.

Buongiorno a tutti,
chi propone questo progetto denominato” Osteria di Clavarezza” è il Consorzio rurale di Clavarezza piccolo paese di 25 abitanti nel comune di Valbrevenna in provincia di Genova.
Il consorzio, nato nel 2013 per la gestione dell’acquedotto frazionale costruito nel lontano 1913 dai nostri padri e nonni, raccoglie annualmente circa 2.500,00 euro derivanti dal canone annuale, e si occupa oltre che della distribuzione dell’acqua in ogni casa del paese, anche di tante iniziative atte a migliorare la vita dei suoi abitanti, il tutto esclusivamente con azioni di volontariato.
In questa ottica abbiamo acquistato (dato il prezzo esiguo di soli 5.000,00 Euro al netto delle imposte) l’immobile della vecchia osteria di paese chiusa dal 1985 (tranne una breve riapertura dal 2001 al 2003), con l’intenzione di riaprire all’interno di esso un circolo, un piccolo museo della nostra storia, e alcune camere per il soggiorno di turisti.
Avere in paese un locale con queste finalità è per la nostra gente davvero importante, specialmente in estate quando la popolazione aumenta notevolmente per la presenza dei molti villeggianti che da sempre occupano le seconde case: la possibilità di bere un caffè, al mattino fare una colazione, una partita a carte senza vagare di casa in casa, dare un servizio di ristoro agli escursionisti di passaggio sarà di vitale importanza per la nostra comunità.
L’immobile è di notevoli dimensioni e quindi, pur non essendo in cattive condizioni, necessita di parecchi lavori di ristrutturazione e di mantenimento.
In questa prima fase i lavori più urgenti sono: l’impermeabilizzazione della terrazza all’ultimo piano e il ripristino della parte sporgente della stessa, il rifacimento della tettoia sulla terrazza al piano terra, tutte le persiane delle numerose finestre e la tinteggiatura delle stesse, all’interno oltre a qualche lavoro di intonacatura dei muri in alcuni punti, la tinteggiatura di tutti i locali e l’adeguamento dell’impianto idrico ed elettrico, lavori quantificati in circa 25.000,00 Euro.
E’ con questi obbiettivi che chiediamo un aiuto a chiunque ci possa sostenere in questa iniziativa che ha come principale finalità mantenere in vita e migliorare questo nostro paese a cui siamo veramente legati da sempre.
Sarà nostra cura e impegno documentare passo passo i lavori eseguiti e redigere di volta in volta un rendiconto minuzioso delle spese sostenute.
