Family in Need

I am saddened to share that the mother of Lili Swallen (3rd grader at Mariemont Elementary) and Lucy Dorger (kindergartener at Mariemont Elementary) passed away unexpectedly on Friday. 

The girls live with their father, Zach Swallen, who also has a son, Boom, that is a 6th grader at Terrace Park Elementary. 

Unfortunately, in addition to their mother's passing, Zach has been experiencing health complications that have landed him in the hospital (now released) but with doctor's orders not to work or drive for at least three months. 

I am creating this GoFundMe on their behalf to support them with bills, meals, holiday gifts for the children, activities to keep their spirits up, and anything else they need during this difficult time.

If you are able to support them in any way it would be appreciated. Lili is in my 3rd-grade class and she is one of the sweetest, most generous, and caring kiddos I have had the pleasure of knowing. 

Our community is incredible at helping others in their time of need. Let's surround this family with love and support this holiday season and beyond.
