Van for Ukraine Crisis, Aid Distribution, Refugee

My name is John Heinzel from Ireland. I left for Ukraine at the end of March, and have been helping here since then, mostly driving a van with humanitarian aid. Over the past two months, the war in Ukraine has caused a horrendous loss of life and destruction. People are hurting, many are starving, and the need is immense!

 

One of the great needs is reliable vehicles, especially vans, to carry food, aid, supplies, and sometimes evacuees.

Currently there is no import tax, which makes it the perfect time to bring vehicles into the country!

(Aside from possibly having to spend 2-3 days getting through the border...). In April I made a trip back to Germany to help with the purchase of some vans for a few missions here.

 

30/04/22, I joined up with PCCR, (Plain Compassion Crisis Response), after purchasing a VW T5 in Germany (gifted by a generous donor in the US), for use in Ukraine.

 

This van will be given to a Christian mission in Suceava, Romania, where a Ukrainian refugee family can use it to replace their old van. So another vehicle is greatly needed! Either to be a replacement to run with PCCR when this one goes to Suceava, or possibly to go straight there, and keep this one here in Dnipro.

 

I would be grateful if you felt led to donate towards the purchase of another Van. I would be running it with the fleet of PCCR vans while they are based here and carrying out humanitarian operations.
The van would then be left in Ukraine and be used by either a church or mission here.
