On Saturday,  May 27, 2017,  the first annual Garfield Mud Run took place at Century Field in Garfield to raise money for the Garfield VFW Post 2867. These veterans selflessly served their country and continue to serve their community. They sponsor toy drives, scholarships, support fellow veterans and Garfield residents in need, while also reaching out to our students as shining examples of good citizenship. Now it is our chance to serve them. We hope to raise $15,000 to purchase an 8-10 passenger van so that the disabled members can attend funerals, patriotic and community events, and doctor appointments at the VA medical facility.

Please help support this charitable cause by donating any amount that you can. You can play a valuable role in assisting our veterans to continue their dedicated service to the community of Garfield. Please consider contributing to this worthy cause.
