Hi Everyone - Scott Brown from Cumming GA here. You have seen me post on the Vacation Life Properties facebook site. I own a property in PCB (Majestic Towers) and I am asking for donations.
This fund is dedicated to the workers and their families that help the Vacation Life Properties owners with their properties. So many of them (they are a part of the VLP family) were devastated by Hurricane Michael. Our painter, lives paint job to paint job and has a home. It's roof was destroyed - and he has no insurance (couldn't afford it). Our Cleaning coordinator lived in a trailer with 6 family members. The trailer had a tree fall on half of the trailer - so now they live in the other half (seriously?). And many others that David shared with me. My heart breaks for these people.
I want the VLP family to help by donating to this gofundme. I promise 100% of the money raised will be handed to the families of VLP that help us. David and I have talked about this and he will assist completely with how we share the donations. I further promise to deliver reports on where the money was distributed so there is no question it's being spent 100% on these families.
I am asking for this VLP family to raise at least $15,000. David says there are approximately 80 VLP homes / condo owners - which means for less than $200 per VLP condo owner, we can reach the goal. David and I will talk every few days to determine how and to whom we pay funds - of course we will update each of you.
We cannot help everyone - it's too massive. But here, we are helping those that help us throughout the year. It's focused in the community and we have control in where the money goes.
