My beloved 79 year old grandmothers house burned down this morning, as you can understand this is very devastating. She lost her longest and dearest companion, her dog Humphry. She has two other surviving pets, Teddy and CoCo. Our families childhood home is unsalvagable and is uninsured. She was widowed in 1977, and is living off of a fixed SS income.
My uncle was injured with 3rd degree burns to his feet and lower legs and is currently in ICU. the majority of her pictures, china, clothes, and personal belonings were destroyed. We are asking for funds to help her and her two pups to find a new home, as of now they are homeless.
We specificlly need housing, clothing and funiture. possibly rebuilding or at least clearing the old place to allow her to sell and possibly buy a new place.
