Let me introduce my brother in Christ, Dave Ramsey. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. The cancer is also located in his lungs, liver and lymphnodes.  He is married to Rebecca and they have three children. Dave is an RN and employeed at at a hospital in Nashville, TN.  He went to the hospital for pain he was experiencing in his back and not being able to eat properly.  Upon running tests on Dave, the doctors came in with the news.  Since then Dave has been off work and the family is having a difficult time financially.  This is just the beginning our the journey that has been layed before them.

Dave is set to go to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville, TN in couple of weeks to get a plan of treatment, expectations from his illness. His doctor here has told him the cancer he has will be a complicated case to treat. 

This family has always been one to jump to help others. They are active in our church and to others as they can. Since the beginning of their marriage, Dave became a father to their nephew, now son, Isaiah, then their neice, now daughter, Carissa and also caring for their other neice and nephew for 3 1/2 years, along with their biological son.  They are a simple family trying to raise their children in a biblical manner and not having lavish desires. 

Please help my brother and sister during this difficult time so they can focus on the medical aspect of this terrible disease. The amount listed will pay for Dave's deductible for the year so insurance will pay, payoff their van since Dave will not be receiving his check, and the rest of their bills for a year.
