At our 20 week anatomy scan it was clear to doctors that something was abnormal with the functioning of baby JT’s heart. After further examination, John-Taylor was diagnosed with two congenital heart defects: TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries) and VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect). John-Taylor will be delivered and will be cared for by specialists in New Orleans. He will undergo surgery (arterial switch) where his main arteries will be switched in order for his body to receive oxygenated blood. It will be a long road of recovery and Grace and Beau will be staying in NOLA to be close to JT. Insurance will cover most of the medical care, but all donations will go towards travel, food, and housing expenses for the extended medical stay. Thank you all so much in advance!
