Happy New Year all,

As you may know, I run a fundraiser every year in memory of my mum, Hamideh, who passed away on 7 January 2011 due to Leukemia. I am fundraising for the medical treatment of 15 financially vulnerable patients this year.

With your help over the past years, we were able to fund the treatment of over 100 patients for chemotherapy, dialysis, surgery, medication, and ongoing hospital visits. To give you some perspective about treatment costs in underprivileged villages:

£5 - is the cost of hospital consultation appointment

£30 - is the cost of one session of chemotherapy

£60 - is the cost of 3 months of medication and hospital tests/visits

£150 - is the average cost of general surgery

Your ongoing support means the gift of life to these patients and their families.
