Help Marilyn Kick Cancer's Ass

If you know Marilyn (Millie) Mahesse, then you know what a bright soul she is. Her laugh can fill a room. When she talks, she's always heard. She's happiness and joy embodied. She's the kind of person we need more of in this sad, crazy world.

And that's why we need to help out. Because she's been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It's not the greatest news. This cancer is aggressive. And scary. But it's also very receptive to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Marilyn is just beginning her fight with this malignant force...and with a positive outlook. It's a battle we hope she will win.

We want to make sure that she focuses on treatment and recovery. And that is why we're asking for financial help. Anything to make sure that she gives 100% of her attention to getting better-- without having to worry about lost wages, medical bills, and the day to day struggle of making ends meet while fighting for her life.

Millie is more than just my friend. She's part of my family. She's been in my life for over 20 years. She's my sister-in-law's mother. My brother's mother-in-law. She's a mom. A wife. A sister. An aunt. And most importantly, a person who deserves a fighting chance.

There are so many causes we support each day. People running 5K's for this or that. Girl scout cookies for sale. Friends starting restaurants or shops. Extra-whip-mocha-frappes to order.  I hope, once you read this, you will consider helping Millie out today. Every little bit helps. For her. For her family. And for me.
