Baby Landreville

In 2010 John and I decided we were ready to have a baby, never expecting to still be trying to reach that goal today.  In December 2013 we were given the news that we would be joining a club that no couple wants to join...the infertility club.  The doctor gave us the devistasting news that we would never have a child of our own.  Thankfully, we we went and got a second opinion and they gave us hope!  We've done 2 rounds of IVF with ICSI.  Our first round of IVF with ICSI resulted in no embryos.  Devistation doesn't even begin to describe the painful emotions we felt.  After several months we decided that we would try again.  This time around we got, 1 embryo that has what John has and 1 embryo that has Down Syndrome.  Our hope is to have both of these babies one day placed in our arms! With each step of this journey and each procedure the costs add up.  IVF on average costs $12k each time.  ICSI, hormone shots, a procedure for John and genetic testing for each embryo costs thousands and thousands more.  We are at the point now that we are ready to put one of the embryos in.  Friends have encouraged us to set up this fund as a way to help.  We don't expect this fund to pay all of our costs, and are deeply touched people want to help.  A donation is greatly appreciated, but just the thought that you care enough to read this moves us greatly.   Thank you for helping us get one step closer to our babies whether that be through giving or through prayer.
