FISH
Beschermde donatie

FISH is a dysfunctional yet wholesome story, following two siblings who navigate how to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood.
Why now?
We have all gone through many changes on internal and external levels this year. Neither of us are the same people we were back in March 2020.
Integrating these changes in our daily lives as we slowly find "new normals," could be a daunting task for many.
After a year of back to back hardship and heartache, it's important to tell a story about the importance of holding space for others to feel safe to be themselves.
The Story:
High school freshman and outcast, Sawyer Rosen, is way too mature. After a fight with the school bully, Sawyer faces suspension.
His art school- drop-out sister and caregiver, Charlie, decides to use this suspension to unconventionally teach Sawyer that it's okay to act his age.
The Team:
Under the direction of Lesette Maxwell, we are very excited to have a team of brilliant female filmmakers! With:
Producers Stephanie Bell and Indira Rodway;
Cinematographer, Alli Gooch;
Production designer, Kelby Knapp, with original artwork by Nicole Dalager;
and our Vanities team led by Celeste Maxwell with Shayna Friedman, we have the perfect recipe to craft beautiful visuals to serve the heartfelt quirks of this story!
The Funds:
The funds from this campaign are to assure the resources necessary for our crew to execute this vision in the best way possible.
This money will be used to cover equipment rentals, tools needed to adhere to health safety guidelines, feeding our cast and crew, and paying our team for their talents and long hours that will be dedicated to this movie.
Extra donations will be used for Film Festival submission fees as well as post-production costs.
We are planning to shoot in Summer of 2021.

I'd like to thank you in advance for being so supportive of bringing this to life! I can't wait to share this with you all upon completion.
