Love for Livvy

Donation protected
On December 21, 2015, Brad and Kari Steele gave birth to baby Livvy. She was born with a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 9 Mosaicism.  What this means is that her cells are not normal and almost every system in her body is affected. She has lived in the hospital pretty much since she was born.
As she grows and develops, new challenges will continue to arise. Thus far, Livvy has had trouble swallowing and eating. She recently received a G-tube to help make sure she can eat safely. She has also stopped breathing periodically while asleep. Luckily she is on oxygen and an apnea monitor which alerts her parents and the nurses when this happens. There is a chance she will grow out of the problems with her throat.
The doctors have told Kari and Brad that Livvy may never talk or walk.
Kari and Brad's lives have completely changed. They are wonderful people who are fighting for their little girl and still don't know what this disorder will bring forward. Livvy has already demonstrated that she was blessed with her parents' spirit and she will not give up.
The road is unknown and we as Brad and Kari's friends want to help in any way we can. Worrying about Livvy's health should be enough, we don't want them worrying about medical bills too. So please if you can, donate to help this deserving family support their little fighter, Livvy.
