Sierra's Up with People Experience!

Hi! I'm Sierra! I am a college student studying Elementary Education and this year I got an incredible opportunity, but I need your help to make it happen! Due to my love of traveling and community service, I got accepted into Up with People! Up with People is a global organization that aims to inspire young people to make a difference in the world, one community at a time, and it brings the world together through community service and music. The unique combination of community service, leadership development, international travel, and performing arts offers participants an unparalleled experience and a pathway to make a difference in the world. As an UWP volunteer, I will visit about 15 different communities across three continents during a semester. In each community I will participate with local nonprofit or civic organizations, attend educational workshops, learn about the region, and perform professional stage show for the members of each community with the goal of keeping hope alive. I will have the opportunity to experience local and diverse cultures by staying with host families in each community. Please help me reach my goals and make an impact!
