Help Stacey turn lemons to lemonade

I am a single mom of 3 amazing kids, 2 of which still live with me, a daughter, who is 17 and a son, who is 15. (My oldest is 20, she lives in a different state with her boyfriend). Recently, I made a giant leap in our lives and left an unhealthy, 8 year long relationship. In doing so, I excepted help from a coworker, who had extra room in thier home. We moved in and everything was going well. Things were starting to look up in our lives! My kids were so happy that we were making a new life for ourselves.  This all soon came to an abrupt hault. I was unaware that my new roomate was finacially hurting, but soon came to learn this the hard way. She was using the money myself and another roomate was giving her for bills and rent, to unbury herself from personal debt. Paying as little as she could to the house bills and using the rest to pay off her credit card debt. It wasn't long before the power was shut off.  She danced around the subject, trying to avoid blame for not actually paying the bills and when evidence was presented to her that she could no longer deny, she gave us notice to vacate immediately.  At this point, there had been no paperwork signed between us, so I removed all of our belongings and put them in storage.
I am in need of donations for a deposit on a place of our own. I used all of my savings to move us into her house and on Christmas. We are currently staying with a friend, but we can not stay there long. I have a full time job and have no problems covering monthly rent but am in need of the extra funds for a security deposit/last months rent.  I would really like to give my children a place they can call their own and feel safe and secure. They deserve that! My kids are great! They are both very active in sports and have excellent grades. It breaks my heart that they are having to deal with this situation, especially after what we have struggled through prior to all of this. We would be truly grateful for any help given!
