Nicaragua Medical Mission Trip

Donation protected
20 students, 6 doctors, 5 days...Last year we saw over 600 patients in Leon, Nicaragua and we are going back this year to host another medical mission trip!  The students at University of Toledo College of Medicine need to raise the money necessary for medications to treat everything from infections to allergies to high blood pressure.  While our mission is a week long, the impact we have on our patients can last forever.

With your donations, you can be a part of the change we make.

Medications Needed...and what we can do with them!

-Baby Aspirin: $15 - to help fight heart disease
-Benadryl: $12 - to alleviate allergy symptoms
-Iron Supplements: $7 - to treat iron deficient anemia
-Antiparasitic: $20 - to help treat a common parasitic infection found in many of our patients from unclean water
-Tylenol: $40 - to treat common viral infections and fever
-Diabetes Medications: $42 - to help control high blood sugar
-Blood Pressure  Medications: $45 - to help fight high blood pressure
-Children's Multivitamins: $100 - helps prevent vitamin deficiency and boosts healthy growth
-Adult Multivitamins: $125 - helps prevent iron deficiency and promotes strong bone health
-Children's Antibiotics: $180 - to help treat ear infections, strep throat, and other bacterial infections
-Gastrointestinal Medications: $150 - helps treat common problems such as constipation, heartburn, and diarrhea
-Inhalers: $200 for 20 - one inhaler can save a life for a child with an acute asthma attack!

Every dollar counts...and can make a huge difference in a patient's life.  Thank you all for your generous donations!
