Teens Taking on the Curve (and hunger)

We are a group of motivated high schoolers across the United States who came together during these difficult times to make a difference within our communities. We are passionate about science and supporting those in need. It is our mission to spread awareness about the current situation and provide resources for those who need them most.
As a group, we are starting some different initiatives to do our part. Some of our projects include: creating educational resources to support elementary and middle school students and providing peer tutoring, bringing awareness to mental health issues that people are facing especially caused by the current crisis, as well as producing and distributing face masks to those who wouldn’t have access otherwise. We seek to use our platform to give teens vital information targeted towards them as well as a platform to help efforts against the virus.
To bring our communities together, we have decided to host a virtual 5k. This 5k will take place over the month of November, and can be run anywhere! Everyone who is participating pays an entry fee by donating $10 in their name to this GoFundMe. Participants are also welcome to raise more money from friends and family to donate in their name as well. In addition, those who do not want to complete the run, but want to support this campaign in their name are more than welcome to do so!
