Helping Hayden!

As some of you may already know; our husband, daddy, brother, son, and friend, Hayden Smyth kissed his 4 babies, and wife (Aubrie) goodbye for work yesterday morning, just like any other day.  However, late in the afternoon, after Aubrie found that Hayden hadn’t ever made it into work, he was found in his car, in his work parking lot, having a seizure, and totally unresponsive.  Likely due to complications with his type 1 diabetes. It’s thought that he had been in his car for over 6 hours, likely having seizure after seizure. Hayden’s blood sugar is stable now, but he remains in the ICU, where he has been almost completely unresponsive ever since.  We don’t know yet if there is permanent damage, but we are hopeful, and prayerful for a miracle.


We are so grateful for the thoughts and prayers that have been offered for this little family, and we hope you’ll continue to keep him in your prayers.  We also hope that those who are able, will make a donation of any size to this wonderful family. Hayden is an incredible daddy. He loves his 3 boys, and brand new baby girl more than anything in this world, but the financial burden of these health issues is going to be devastating to their little family to incur.  We hope and pray that we can help lift only a small portion of the burden, by offering some financial aid. We hope to be able to help cover most if not all of the hospital bills that will likely be in the tens of thousands of dollars, if not more.
