Concept of the new surgical
kit for child,
ecological, fun and recyclable.

Bye the old and sad surgical kit with dull colors !

Welcome new, fun, eco-friendly and recyclable surgical kit
for kids.

Tik & Dik is the new concept of the fun, ecological, recyclable and disposable surgical kit for hospitalized children. Colorful, fun, it will help reduce stress in the young patient and give him a little smile before undergoing surgery. Everyone knows the fear and anguish felt by the child in his hospital room while waiting for the surgery, whatever it may be. He is afraid, is on the verge of tears and despite the fact that his parents and the medical team are around him to reassure him, he can not help but have this legitimate apprehension. Hence the idea of giving a playful, instructive and colorful tone to medical clothing to put on before the fateful hour. The surgical kit is usually designed in a dull shade lacking cheerfulness such as a pale green, a common blue, a dull gray or an off-white. The child mechanically puts on the gown, the slippers, the underpants and the cap without a smile, without a hope keeping the fear of surgery and ending up in clothes without magic. But for the child, the magic side is essential.
Tik & Dik is an original surgical kit for children with a unique size, fun with its bright colors, ecological with its printing and dyeing with vegetable ink and fully recyclable; the company producing is ISO 14001 certified, complies with environmental management standards and is committed to recycling and transforming its waste to 100%. The Tik & Dik’s surgical kit also provides all the protection and hygiene required in medical equipment used in hospitals. These clothes are obviously for single use, I associated them with two small accessories that the child can not only keep in his room but also bring home after his stay in the hospital. This is a small leather bracelet and beads and a small book telling the adventures of Tik the koala and Dik the polar bear. The two little animal heroes explain in a playful and instructive way to the children the climatic changes that certain countries undergo and the consequences that it carries out for the generations to come. In a second step, a second kit consisting of wall stickers and a sheet, a pillowcase and a blanket is provided for the decoration of the child's room representing the countries visited by the two small animal heroes. It will also be ecological, printed with the logo of Tik & Dik and will respect the hygiene standards imposed in primate and public hospitals to brighten up the room of the child during his stay. The well-being of our children in private and public hospitals and the safeguarding of the environment are two important and essential things and my project is not only worthwhile but is already of interest to several public hospitals, in the United States in particular. My ambition is great it's true but I am a serious, determined, generous and motivated woman who works hard to succeed but who needs your help to launch this fun, eco-friendly and recyclable surgery kit to give a smile to our children and thus reduce their stress before undergoing any surgery.
I hope to bring the necessary funds for the launch of the first Tik & Dik surgical kits to the first hospitals interested in this concept. Our sick children need you, saving the environment with the ecological and fully recyclable aspect of this new medical equipment needs you and I need you.

Why Tik & Dik ?

Tik & Dik is the anagram of Kit & Kid (name already taken). Tik the koala and Dik the polar bear are the two animals representing not only the logo of this fun, ecological and recyclable surgical kit for children, but they also embody the main heroes of the sixteen small books in the collection of the same name. Children love animals, be they alive, stuffed, in tv, in cartoons...That's why I chose two little animal heroes that children particularly love. Tik is a young koala born with three fingers instead of five and this malformation led to his departure from the mockery of his comrades. At the same time, Dik, a young polar bear, arrives in New Zealand and tells his new friend his voluntary departure from Bear Island, his native island, his family rejecting him because he was born with a peculiarity: his fur changes of color according to the climate. The two friends decided to go on a trip around the world to explain to children in a playful and instructive way the climate changes that many countries are undergoing and the consequences that they have for future generations. They are also the logo of the kit to brighten the child's room in the hospital (wall stickers - sheet - pillowcase - blanket) provided in a second time once my team and I have launched the kit Surgical Tik & Dik in the first interested hospitals and in a sustainable way.

Why is Tik & Dik fun ?

Tik & Dik is a fun, ecological, recyclable, colorful and printed surgical kit. It is fun, tinted with a beautiful blue for boys and a pretty pink for girls. I know it's cliché, common but I asked many children their favorite color and these two colors were top of the list, almost unanimous. The vegetable ink used for dyeing clothes and printing the logo comes from a production plant located in India and is ideally suited for medical textiles in hospitals. The logo is printed on the blouse at the chest and wider in the back. It is also fun because it is composed as a whole of a blouse, underpants, a pair of slippers, a cap, a small leather bracelet and beads handmade and a little book from a collection of sixteen stories about the adventures of Tik & Dik traveling around the world. The two little heroes explain in a playful and instructive way to the children the climatic changes that some countries undergo and the consequences that they carry out for the generations to come.
Its bright colors, comfort and two small accessories to take away make this kit a wonderful way to reduce the stress felt by the young patient before undergoing surgery. They will put on clothes more fun and attractive than those initially dull and without any magic. The smile of a child is precious and science itself has recognized that in a patient prepared for surgery, the less anxiety there is less risks there are too. It is therefore essential. In addition, in a second time, the wall stickers representing the different countries visited by Tik & Dik will bring a welcoming and fun decor to the room of the sick child. The bed will also be less cold with its sheet, pillowcase and cover, all printed with the same logo and representing the adventures of Tik & Dik. These will also be ecological and machine washable at low temperatures.

Why is Tik & Dik ecological and recyclable ?

The company that will design the Tik & Dik fun, eco-friendly and recyclable surgical tool kit is ISO 14001 certified, a recognized international standard, certifying compliance with environmental management rules, the impact on it being constantly monitored and improved. The company that will design this surgical kit is committed to sustainable development by maintaining a minimum level of waste. The latter, generated by this type of medical equipment, will be collected and sold to recycling companies, which in turn will turn them into new raw materials and thus help reduce the exploitation of natural resources. The company that will design them is part of the United Nations Global Compact, a strategic political initiative, based on ten principles based on human rights, labor law, the environment and the fight against corruption. The blue and pink dye will be vegetable and non-allergic as well as that of the logo. The factory that produces this vegetable ink used for textile printing in hospitals is in India. Safeguarding the environment is a major current issue. Our planet, the Earth, is dying of all the man-made exploitations that have been carried out for centuries by humans, to the point that important climatic phenomena are creating massive titanic damage in the four corners of the world, disrupting human life, wildlife, flora, forests, seas and oceans and everything about life in general. Even minimal actions such as designing an ecological and recyclable surgical kit for children that can avoid millions of garbage worldwide are important and add a stone to this building that is saving our planet because this one, as everyone knows, will not be eternal. There is still time to think about leaving our children a healthy and protective Mother Earth. Becoming conscious and working in this direction is essential even if the challenge is immense. Help me please and all together we can do it.

Why is Tik & Dik disposable ?

Tik & Dik is a surgical kit for a child patient in a public or private hospital and like all medical equipment ensuring perfect hygiene in hospitals environment, protective clothing to wear before any surgery whatsoever is therefore for single use. The two small accessories included in this kit, the little book and the small bracelet are not by cons. The sick child will be able to keep them during his/her stay in the hospital and bring them home when he/she leaves. In a second step, the kit of decoration for the room (wall stickers - sheet - pillowcase - blanket) will be just as fun and ecological but will be machine washable and not disposable.

We all know that the budgets and subsidies granted to public and private hospitals are revised down each year. This is noticed not only in France but in the vast majority of the countries worldwide. Everything is calculated to the nearest cent. The cost price of the fun, ecological and recyclable surgical kit is a little higher than the initial kit normally used in the hospital environment, but it is justified by its comfort, its quality and its ecological product warranty and recyclable as well as its playful side with its two associated accessories to take away. Colored dyeing, logo printing and vegetable ink are also more expensive than those of a standard surgical kit. But without playing the sensitive card of this new kit for children, the well-being of the latter to the hospital and the management of the ecological impact of medical equipment are two essential and important reasons for its launch. My professional ambition to equip many public and private hospitals in France and around the world with this fun, ecological and recyclable Tik & Dik’s surgical kit and then with a decoration kit for the welcoming hospital room the youngest patient may seem disproportionate, but the smile of a child, his anguish diminished before undergoing surgery and the tiny stone that I would like to give to the gigantic building that is saving our planet for generations to come are worth I really want to go after this great project. I sincerely believe that it is worth it.
