US Marine Vet & family needs our help
Donation protected
Hi, I am posting for a very dear family because their trusting hearts were taken. Meet Steven & Julie Perez (Steven, a Marine Vet) purchased their 1st home Spring of 2020. A time that should be celebrated as dreams coming true has turned into a nightmare. They used an agent (Buying & Selling) that let greed overcome the best interest of the buyers. The home inspection describes a black mold-infested house from top to bottom, covered by dark hi-gloss paint that cosmetically looked appealing, not knowing what was lurking underneath. The family repeatedly asked the agent if they should be concerned as the inspection described a Mold substance. (agent responding with " No, nothing to be concerned with.") they proceeded to pay the full asking price for the home, all while there was $35,000 in the report in need of repairs. Fast forward two years, the Mold took hold and started appearing from top to bottom; Steven was diagnosed with congenital stenosis, a crippling disease that smothers the nervous system; in time, my friend will be paralyzed from the neck down. We believe the black mold is speeding up the process as he gets headaches, nausea and fatigue; Julie & the boys are asthmatic, now having to use inhalers continually and having frequent attacks. On top of all this, their 1st grandbaby in the NIc unit with a respiratory problem was born prematurely. We are asking for donations to move this family immediately while it goes thru litigation. Living on a Marines disability check does not allow them the luxury of paying for another residence. Please consider donating as this man gave everything for his country; It's time for his country give back to him. Many Blessings!!
