We have "No Home Owners Insurance":
Friday December 11, 2020 at 4:00am my wife and I woke to the sound of fire detectors and a blazing fire in our home. The heat was extreme and the smoke was so thick we could not breath and began coughing. The fire filled our home at a pace that I cannot describe in words. My reaction was to get us out and we left without clothes on our backs or shoes. We called the Oklahoma City Fire Department but while waiting I reacted by getting a garden water hose and climbed onto the burning roof and began spraying. The reality is that I could only control the fire with minimal impact.
Unfortunately, my efforts against this fire reached a level of unlimited visibility from the rolling smoke, extreme heat from the fire and as I continued to back away I lost my footing; and fell to the ground causing injury to my leg. The good news is the fire fighters arrived in 5 fire trucks and were able to kill the fire but not before 75% of the house was damaged by fire, smoke and water.
We are devastated and have lost everthing we own. As a result, we are unable to rebuild our home without the help of others such as our friends and family members. Realizing everyone is affected by the pandemic (COVID -19) I hesitate to ask for help but I have no option but to pray to God and ask him to guide us; and for any assistance anyone reading this can give. Thank You in Advance and Stay Safe!
