URI Service Corps: New England Weekend Excursion

Hello everyone!

As some of you may know, I have been a part of URI Service Corps for three years now and have participated in 3 service trips to serve the community of Baltimore, Maryland, Dallas, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Due to COVID, URI has canceled our Spring Break this March in order to keep the students safe and healthy. Therefore, we have to do our service trip a little differently this year.

This year, my team leaders and I are traveling with 6 participants throughout New England on various weekends in order to keep serving communities. We will be serving locally in Rhode Island to advocate for supporting your local communities, in Boston focusing on urban poverty, and in New Hampshire focusing on environmental sustainability.

This trip is completely student-funded, meaning your donations help us pay for everything from transportation, food, and organization donations. We are responsible for our own fundraising efforts and my goal is to raise $400 to help pay for these accommodations.
