Urgent Surgery Needed for Ben – Help Our Labrador Avoid Furt

Hi, everyone. We’re Scott and Courtney, and we’re reaching out for help for our Labrador, Ben, who means everything to us. Ben has been part of our family for nearly eight years—Scott got him for his 21st birthday, and he’s been his best friend ever since. Ben is about to turn 8 at the end of October, and we want nothing more than to see him happy and healthy for many more birthdays to come.

Both of us struggle with our mental health, and Ben has always been our rock. No matter what he’s been through—whether it was his past battle with cancer or now this new issue—he’s always stayed strong because he has his Mam and Dad by his side. Despite everything, he never complains, because to him, having us with him is all that matters. He’s more than just a pet to us—he’s our child.

Recently, Ben developed a painful growth on his tail, and the vet has told us he will likely need surgery to have his tail removed. This operation is crucial to stop the pain and prevent the infection from spreading or worsening. Unfortunately, we’re facing financial difficulties, and the cost of the surgery is more than we can manage on our own.
