URGENT: Stop Deportation & Save a Father of 5 Children
Donation protected
We urgently need your support to save Adegboyega Tella, a father of five young children, who is currently being held by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and faces deportation on Friday, June 20, 2025.
Adegboyega came to Canada in December 2017, fleeing life-threatening violence in Nigeria. His family endured unimaginable trauma, including the attempted kidnapping of his children.
Though grieving the heartbreaking loss of one of his sons in 2021—after a medical mishap—Mr. Tella remained devoted to building a better life for his surviving children. He is their rock, their security, and their hope.
But now, this family is on the verge of being torn apart.
- What Makes This Even More Urgent:
Adegboyega currently has a pending hospital appointment in Canada to repair a broken leg, a serious injury that has limited his mobility and ability to provide. Deporting him before his treatment is not just unjust—it’s dangerous to his health and life.
- Why We’re Raising $10,000
This emergency fund will help cover:
Urgent legal fees to file a stay of removal
Representation for an immigration appeal or humanitarian application
Medical document submission to support his case
Filing and translation fees
- Why This Matters:
These five children risk losing their father.
A man in need of medical treatment could be sent to a country where he faces further harm.
This is a humanitarian crisis—not just a legal one.
- How You Can Help:
Donate anything you can—no amount is too small
Share this campaign with friends, family, religious and community groups
Stand with us to say: Canada should not deport a father in pain, with children depending on him, and a leg in need of urgent care
This plea crosses all lines of race, religion, or nationality.
It’s about compassion. It’s about urgent help.
It’s about saving a father and keeping five children whole.
