Update! Moved, but with my knee injury keeping me out of one of my jobs, anything helps!!!

I was recently served a 30-day eviction notice from my apartment complex, and I’m freaking out and feel like I have no other option than to ask for support.

For context:

This year has been awful for my health and also my work. I have been sick more than 5 times just this year and suffered serious injuries. I have had an underlying medical issue that has not been resolved yet. I had vocal nodules, which made working impossible. I had strep throat another time, I suffered a concussion, and now I’m recovering from a knee injury that has affected my usual work in the service industry. I am also currently recovering from a bad cold as well, which also affected my ability to work.

The jobs I have been able to work this year have not been enough to survive, and I have been struggling to make rent every month. I have been struggling to find work for serving and bartending, which would have helped keep me afloat this year, but I’m also non-binary, and with all the politics and DEI being cut in many places, my options are already more limited than they were.

I spent 7 months last year unemployed and scraping by. I had to leave my previous employer because of discrimination. Many of my coworkers were being harassed or discriminated against, and most of us were dealing with some form of silencing or discrimination after coming forward. I was sure I would find a job in the service industry when I left, and I had saved up tips for the following months. All of that is gone now.

I'm currently about $3.5k in debt to my apartment company and about $4k in debt to my credit card company. I am just asking for enough to get by and not be evicted, so really, anything helps!
