My friend's name is Bonnie. She is 82 years old and being evicted from her subsidized housing apartment. She must be out by January 28th, 2026. She is on three subsidized housing waitlists that take a year or more to become available. Her monthly income is $900, and has no other source of financial support due to ongoing health issues. She needs help paying for rent, utilities and health expenses until she can move into subsidized housing again. Bonnie has been able to support herself on $900 per month for many years struggling to maintain her independence until this time in her life. Because of her love for flowers she has volunteered to help with Healing Gardens (a sanctuary for all to connect with the healing power of nature) over many years. It is now my honor to help her find a new place which she prays she will never have to leave. Mentally, Bonnie is sharp and can handle finances responsibly as she has for many years.
