Hi, my name is Taylor Byrd I've created this page for my little family and I can hopefully get back on our feet.

We never imagined we would be starting over like this.

After losing our home to an electrical fire a month ago, our family, has finally been able to move into a new place, after what felt like a lifetime in a little hotel with no real space for Wylder (our son) to play. We are incredibly thankful to have a roof over our heads again, but moving in showed us just how much we truly lost.

We made it to safety, but now we are rebuilding from almost nothing. Much of what we owned was smoke damaged and unsafe to bring into the home, especially with a small child who has severe asthma. Right now we are working to make our home livable, stable, and safe while catching up financially from weeks of displacement, missed work, and starting completely over.

The funds raised here will help us secure stable housing and replace the basic necessities we lost so we can start over and give our son a safe place to call home again. Living in a hotel with a toddler was incredibly difficult, and we are hoping to make things as normal and as stable as possible.

This experience has been heartbreaking, stressful, and made even harder by added obstacles with the landlords.
