Urgent Help Needed for Dog’s Emergency Vet Care

Hi, my name is Deborah, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone I met just today in heartbreaking circumstances.

As I was leaving Aldi, I came across a man in deep distress — his dog had suddenly become very ill, and he feared she was having a heart attack. He had no car, no nearby support, and nowhere to turn.

I drove him and his dog to the 24-hour emergency vet in Marbella. We stayed there for a few hours while the amazing team assessed and treated her. Thankfully, she is alive — but she has to be kept in for emergency care, and the total vet bill came to nearly €500.

This man is new to Spain, doing his best to build a life here. Right now, he’s living in a house without running water or electricity, with very limited resources. I was able to contribute a small amount toward the bill, but I know that any additional help would mean the world to him.
