My name is Iman Samir Abdel Karim Al-Tash. I am 29 years and I have got a bachelor's degree in chemistry.

I have been married for 8 years with my husband, Ezz El-Din Khalil Ibrahim Foura, who is 33. God has not blessed us with children yet. Before the war, I was striving to achieve my dream of becoming a mother by undergoing IVF, but the war came and shattered this dream of mine.

Jobwise, I repeatedly sought employment at Al Aqsa University. But, when the war came, I also saw this dream shattered, twice.

Because of the war, I lost my home, which has been struck by a missile. Along with it, I lost all the memories I had in it. Unfortunately, I have to say that we lost many loved ones and dear friends in these past months.

At the moment, I am responsible for my elderly father, Samir Abdul Karim Al-Tash, who is 58, my mother Raeda Khader Muhammad Foura, 48, and my little sister Alaa, 15.

Again because of the war, my father lost his job and his land which,with all his citrus fruits, has been completely swept away.

We have been displaced five times. Before that, we were living in the southern Gaza Strip, in the city of Deir al-Balah. I am now in the northern Gaza Strip, but, of course, we could not find a new house to shelter us. Indeed, we are all now living in a governmental school for displaced people in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Currently, the situation is very dangerous and tragic beyond words. Food and supplies are extremely diffcult to find at affordable prices. Also, my father got injured and suffers from back pain. He was about to undergo surgery but we had to postpone it because of the ongoing attacks on our land.

As you can gather, then all the money we are planning to raise will be devoted to these two things: food and water, and medicines for my father. The donations will be managed from Italy and then transferred to a secure PayPal account that I have been trying to use in these times of emergency.

All I can say is that, deep within our heart, we know we did not do anything bad. We are suffering and we are constantly oppressed, day and night, exposed to injustices and hunger, just like milions of Gazans. Our strength is our hope, and we always thank God for the love we receive from people who can help us, both here in Gaza and all around the world. As we say here, he who does not thank people does not thank God, and we are extremely grateful to all those kind enough who want to donate to me and my family. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all. I can't and will never forget your kindness as long as I live.
