My name is Amjad Yousef from Gaza (Palestine). I am writing this after much thought and hesitation. But the urgency and need to save my family is greater than my ability to hold on. I am deeply asking for your generous support to help me evacuate my family from Gaza. I will remain in Gaza in the meantime to help my people. I worked in the Nasr hospital as a nurse and was among the last people to evacuate it, and I have been volunteering in the various remaining hospitals since then in Khan Yunis and Rafah. I am committed to staying here and saving lives in Gaza, but now I have reached a point where I feel desperate and I urgently and humbly ask you to help me save my family's lives by getting them out of Gaza because nowhere is safe. It occurs in Gaza due to slow deaths due to hunger, drought, displacement, the spread of diseases and constant bombing. Choosing to leave is an extremely painful decision, but the situation has become unbearable. We are now homeless like many others due to the ongoing bombing of Gaza since October 7th. My family was displaced 3 times. I decided to stay and volunteer at the hospital without being sure if they had made it safely down south or if I would hear from them again. Due to the lack of communication, I was only able to find them after more than a month of searching from one camp to another and from one tent to another, but thank God I was able to find them about two weeks ago. They are now staying in a tent somewhere in Rafah in completely inhumane conditions, where they are running out of food, there is no electricity, no water, no toilet, and the weather is cold and rainy. I am currently a volunteer at Al-Nasr Hospital in Khan Yunis and the trip to Rafah is not easy (no transportation, hours of walking and high risk of being shot or bombed) but I try to reach them every 10 days to make sure they are still alive. Neighborhood because there is no connectivity and the microchips do not work in that area. It's been 3 months of hell and horror. This genocide has gone on for too long, and our mental health and lives are in constant danger. (I can't describe enough what I've been dealing with on a daily basis in hospitals for the past 90 days or so, I haven't been able to count it). We have reached a point where there is no longer hope for us here in Gaza as we are unfortunately waiting for our turn to die, and even if there is a ceasefire, the devastation in Gaza cannot be repaired quickly. To cross the “Rafah” border between Gaza and Egypt, you need to put your name on the crossing list (paid permit) and coordinators in Egypt who have the ability to add my family names to the list at the border are now asking for a starting amount of $7. -8000 per person! They will not add names until we can prove that we have the funds ready. Being the oldest in the family, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to my family and I didn't do everything I could to get them out. Unfortunately, our house was destroyed and the pictures were taken two months ago, and now we don't know anything about our house. You can see before and after photos of our home. Please help me get them out, I would sincerely appreciate any donation, even if small that would make a huge difference in alleviating our suffering. Please consider sharing my campaign widely with your family and friends to reach my goal as soon as possible because every second is a risk of death in Ga.za. I will be forever grateful for your kind assistance in this difficult time.

I am a nurse, and my wife, Israa, is a pharmacist from Gaza.
We lost every things our jobs and our home in the recent conflict in Gaza.
We have a beautiful two-year-old child (Majd) who has not yet known the taste of life.
I hope you can share our story with people and try to reach as many people as possible to help save me, my small family, and my child from the war and destruction
