Urgent Appeal: Help support Layla Cawale treatment

Salam to all my respected brother and sisters,

Following a fatal car accident in Somalia, where her youngest brother passed away (May Allah swt have mercy on his soul) our beloved Aunty Layla is facing extreme hardship and is seeking your financial support.

Layla and her sister had come to visiting their ailing mother in Somalia, to care for and to spend precious quality time with her.

Layla’s generosity and selflessness has always led her to financially supports her family with most of her wage sent back to Somalia whilst living on the bare minimum.

Following the accident Layla has 10 fractures/breaks in her ribs, 7 fractures of her spinal transverse processes, fluid around both lungs, deep cuts/lacerations around her face with the possibility of losing part or full right ear alongside other injuries. She will require weeks to months of care until she is fit to return so some degree of normality.

She has undergone surgery to her face and head lacerations and an attempt to save her right ear.

Now as a community is our time to show our love, care, generosity and selflessness in supporting her medical care and rehabilitation.

Allah swt says in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 261:

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed (of grain) which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (His reward) for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

The verse above emphasises that Allah swt will multiple the reward for those who give. As we are in the last 10 nights of this bless month of Ramadan, we seek your help in supporting the ongoing financial costs for her treatment and rehabilitation in Nairobi and safe return to the USA.

May Allah swt bless you all continuously and shower his love, mercy and forgiveness on you all and reward you abundantly with whatever you may be able to give in charity.
