On August 1 2025, our lives changed in an instant. A sudden lightning strike set our house on fire, and within moments, the place we called home was gone. We lost nearly everything — not just the walls and roof that sheltered us, but the memories, keepsakes, and simple comforts we had built over the years.

It’s hard to find the words for the heartbreak of seeing our home destroyed, knowing how much love and hard work went into it. While we are so grateful that no one was physically harmed, the loss is overwhelming. Starting over from nothing feels impossible without help.

We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community with heavy hearts to ask for your support as we begin to rebuild. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward replacing necessities, finding temporary shelter, and eventually restoring a safe home for our family.

El 1 de agosto de 2025, nuestras vidas cambiaron en un instante. Un repentino rayo incendió nuestra casa, y en cuestión de momentos, el lugar al que llamamos hogar se había ido. Perdimos casi todo, no solo las paredes y el techo que nos protegían, sino los recuerdos, los recuerdos y las comodidades simples que habíamos construido a lo largo de los años.

Es difícil encontrar las palabras para la angustia de ver nuestra casa destruida, sabiendo cuánto amor y trabajo duro se dedicó. Aunque estamos muy agradecidos de que nadie haya sufrido daños físicos, la pérdida es abrumadora. Empezar de nuevo sin nada parece imposible sin ayuda.

Estamos llegando a nuestra familia, amigos y comunidad con gran pesar para pedirles apoyo mientras comenzamos a reconstruir.
