**An Urgent Plea for Help: Support for Lynsey and Baby Amoni Hope**

I'm reaching out today with a heartfelt and urgent request for assistance on behalf of a single mother, Lynsey, and her precious 5-month-old baby girl, Amoni Hope. Lynsey is facing an incredibly challenging time, and she needs our support now more than ever.

As of October 31st, Amoni Hope, who will be turning 5 months old on November 7th, was admitted to Henry Ford Hospital with a severe respiratory infection caused by both COVID and RSV. She has been in respiratory distress, requiring continuous oxygen, and is still fighting to recover. The emotional toll on Lynsey, as a mother, is indescribable as she watches her baby struggle, all while trying to navigate the overwhelming pressures of her own financial survival.

Without local family support, Lynsey is facing the daunting task of covering all of her household expenses—rent, car note, utilities, diapers, wipes, daycare, groceries, and more—all while being by Amoni’s side at the hospital. The medical bills are mounting, and the strain of balancing her new job with her daughter's ongoing health crisis is unbearable.
