If you know Erica, you know her adventurous spirit, brilliance and passion. Her smile lights up a room. Her love of animals, art and living life to the fullest is inspiring.
Many know Erica experienced a traumatic accident in June. In true Erica style, she is only focusing on the positives and continuing to live with inspirational gratitude. While she received good news that the bones in her face are healing well, she still has a long road ahead of her to fully heal.
Erica is also known for her privacy, positivity and willingness to work above and beyond to get the job done. She is a bit uncomfortable with this GoFundMe because she recognizes the many needs of those around her. While she would prefer that people give to the bleeding disorder community instead of her, we know that people can give to both.
Erica has incurred many medical bills as she recovers physically and mentally. Let’s share the love with her that she shares with all of us. Know that nothing is going to hold her back. She is already excited to get back to trapeze now that her surgeon has approved it (with a handful of stipulations including no landing on her face, going easy, and stop doing anything that hurts). This is what we love about Erica. She is eager to move forward with her life, and imagine how quickly she can heal if we all surround her with love and support.

About Erica’s Accident:
Erica was in a trapeze accident in June. She shattered multiple bones in her face, severed her nose and injured her neck. After emergency surgery and many stitches, she is slowly healing. She is hopeful she will be able to avoid reconstructive surgery but is expecting to need some small adjustments. The facial swelling will take numerous months to reduce but Erica is grateful that she was not paralyzed.
In true Erica fashion she is continuing to work and serve the bleeding disorder community with positivity and determination.
