Welcome to the Unity Peace Park Project!
The Unity Peace Park is located on Linwood Ave. directly behind our church at 1243 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo, NY.
Our vision for Unity Peace Park is to be a sustainable, community green space; inspiring peace in our hearts, our city, and in our world.
Our added vision is focusing on the following:
-Sustainable urban habitat
-Native plants and trees
-Zero use of insecticides or herbicides
-Environmental and habitat education
-Electricity and water access
-Open space for outdoor classes such as yoga
-Restoration of the gazebo
-Community resource
As of now we have $2,000 in our Peace Park fund, and what we are seeking is to match that amount in additional donations, so that we can give the park, trees, and structures some much needed TLC before next winter sets in.
