Meet one of my dearest friends, Bobbi. Bobbi has spent her entire adult life, approximately 20 years, working in the social work field with troubled youth. She does everything, within her power, to help every child she comes across. Her goal with each is for them to become the best person they can be. Bobbi has shared with me that she has remained in this particular field, for as long as she has, because “once you get past the resistance and stop focusing on what brought each child to the court’s attention, you meet some really amazing and talented kids who have never been given a chance.”
Bobbi has always had dreams of having her own children one day and just recently made the selfless decision to adopt a child in need. After a couple of years contemplating adoption, she realized her destiny is to adopt a child on her own, as there are so many children out there in need of a loving home. Bobbi has so much love and support in her life and she absolutely wants to share that with a child. I have been friends with Bobbi for 30 years and I know first hand that any child who gets matched up with her will be the luckiest child in the world! She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know and has already changed the lives of so many.
As you may or may not know, any form of adoption is extremely costly. The world of social work does not provide adoption assistance, in most situations, and I would absolutely love to show Bobbi that she truly does have more love and support out there in the world than she even realizes! Will you help me in supporting Bobbi’s dream of becoming a Mother AND with helping a child in need of love?
