Mano A Mano Official Project - UNIRAID 2020 

This project focuses on helping people in need as well as bringing attention to events of similar scope. The goal is to cross Morocco through the Dakar route using a self-refurbished rally car and deliver humanitarian supplies to the villages and schools most in need.

UNIRAID 2020  is an “impossible” adventure of a humanitarian and solidary nature. The participants are university students, using a car over 20 years old and without GPS, with only a roadbook, a compass, two drivers and an adventurous and collaborative spirit. During the 9-day rally, the participants will not only cross the desert sand rivers, they will climb over 2200 meters, ride the snow and mud of the Atlas Mountains and have a night stage and a marathon stage. This event will have a total of six stages to complete 2500 km with two connecting days and one rest day. This edition takes place from February 15th to the 23th 2020, starting in Tangier, Morocco.

We will be collecting thousands of kg of humanitarian supplies such as hygienic products, school supplies, clothing, sports gear, electronic devices, toys, etc., to deliver to the children most in need around the most remote areas of Morocco. All the funds raised here will be used to support this volunteer project: the expenses of the old car that needed to be refurbished by us in order to access remote places, the cost of buying and/or organizing events to gather humanitarian supplies, and all the expenses that have so far surpassed our financial possibilities.
