Battersea Brownies

Thank you for visiting this page! In a few sentences I hope to provide a small explanation as to why each of your donations are so important.
Across the country, the Brownies are split into small units and each of these are charities in their own rights. This means there are disparities between units based on the socio-economic group it provides for. The Battersea Brownie unit I volunteer for provides weekly group activities for girls between the ages of 7-10 from a low economic background. Currently, the girls who come weekly do not all have their own Brownie uniform, and some are unable to consistently provide the small subscription fee used to fund weekly activities. Therefore, this page is aiming to raise enough to be able to ensure each girl has a Brownie uniform t-shirt and a badge sash.  Additional funds will go towards allowing the unit to keep weekly meetings and continue to provide a safe space for girls to discover their potential outside of a classroom. We hope that in the new year we will be able to involve the girls in some fundraising activities of their own to allow us to continue with this much needed Brownie group.
