Uniform Explosion

Hello everyone,

My name is Deborah Staples and I am a kindergarten teacher at East Linden Elementary School. I would like to thank all of you for supporting the Shoe Explosion at East Linden Elementary School last fall. 300 students were able to receive a new pair of shoes. It was a very exciting time for the children and their families. With your donation's every child received a pair of brand new shoes. The smiles, tears of joy were so beautiful. The students were so grateful and happy. This year our students are in need of school uniforms. As a pastor and teacher I realize that families really need support . This pandemic has caused families to experience difficult times financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

I've been praying and encouraging families to believe that their children's needs will be met, and to keep their faith strong. Our school enrollment is 300 -325 students and the goal is to provide them with a school uniform. I've spoken to some individuals and I also visited stores to determined the cost per child. The average cost per uniform was $15.00-20.00 per child. I believe in my heart that every child deserves to be bless with something new to wear, and with your support it can happen. My prayer is that you will consider sharing your love with a donation to purchase uniform shirts, pants or socks for the children grades K-5th grade. Your donation or sponsorship is always a blessings and appreciated for the children at East Linden Elementary School.
