Une aide pour les habitants de Nyagwethe au Kenya

Nous sommes deux français, deux basques et un colombien, Agathe , Julien-Tiên, Maïlys, Joanes et Alejandro, actuellement volontaires dans le village de Nyagwethe au Kenya, sur les bords du lac Victoria. Nous avons chaleureusement été accueillis par la famille de Julius ainsi que par le reste du village. C'est pourquoi, nous tenons vraiment à leur apporter notre aide.

Le village est autosuffisant, les habitants se nourrissent des fruits et des légumes de leur récolte et mangent les poissons pêchés dans le lac. Mais à cause du changement climatique, les sécheresses sont de plus en plus fréquentes. Ils peinent à se nourrir convenablement. En conséquence, ils auraient besoin d'un système d'irrigation afin de maintenir une production de fruits et de légumes tout au long de l'année.

Une petite contribution pourrait grandement leur faciliter la vie.

We are two French, two Bask and one Colombian named Agathe, Maïlys, Julien-Tiên, Joanes, and Alejandro. Currently, we are volunteering in the village of Nyagwethe in Kenya, on the shore of the lake Victoria. We have been warmly welcomed by Julius's family and all the village. That's why, we would like to give our support to them.

Nyagwethe is a self-reliant village, the inhabitants depend on their farm products (fruits, vegetables, cereales) and on the fishes on the lake. But because of the climate change, droughts are becoming more frequent and they are struggling to feed the population. Therefore, they need irrigation tools such as a generator pump, pipes, and seeds in order to maintain their production of fruits and vegetables throughout the year.

A little contribution could have a big impact and facilitate their life.

Somos dos franceses, dos bascos y un colombiano, nos llamamos Agathe, Maïlys, Julien-Tiên, Joanes y Alejandro. Actualmente, estamos haciendo un voluntariado en el pueblo de Nyagwethe, en Kenya, al lado del lago Victoria. Fuimos excelentemente recibidos por la familia de Julius y todo el pueblo. Por esta razón, nos gustaría dar nuestra ayuda para ellos.

Nyagwethe es una comunidad autosuficiente donde los habitantes dependen de sus plantaciones (frutas, verduras, cereales) y de los pescados del lago. Pero, a causa del cambio climático, las sequías se están volviendo frecuentes, y están teniendo problemas para alimentar la población. Por esta razón, necesitan un sistema de irrigación como una planta de generación, una manguera y semillas para mantener su producción de frutas y verduras durante todo el año.

Una pequeña contribución puede generar un gran impacto y facilitar sus vidas.

Hemengo familia baten etxean lo egiten dugu eta biziki untsa errezibituak izan gira bai familiarengandik bai eta herri guziarengandik ere. Horregatik, gure laguntza eskaini nahi diegu.

Herri hau kanpo laguntzarik gabe bizi da. Horiek landatutako fruitu/barazkiz eta lakuan arrantzatutako arrainekin bizi dira !  Bainan, aldaketa klimatikoarengandik, idorteak geroz eta azkarragoak dira eta zailtasunak dituzte horien landareen ureztatzeko.
